Saltire boss honoured by radio charity

It’s been a momentous month for Saltire Roofing & Building Managing Director Steven McIntosh. Not only has he celebrated his 50th birthday, but he’s also been presented with a very special gift from his friends at Radio Forth Cash for Kids in recognition of his ongoing charity work.

Earlier this week, Steven was awarded a personalised gold disc in honour of his long-term commitment to supporting children across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife and Falkirk.

Saltire Roofing & Building has sponsored Radio Forth’s “Cash for Kids in Action” since 2014. The daily on-air feature is vital in promoting the charity’s latest appeals in campaigns like “Coats for Kids”, “Mission Christmas” and many others.

Presenting the gold disc to Steven, Cash for Kids Regional Charity Manager Emma Kemp said:

“This personalised gold disc is a tribute to the commitment and support that Steven has shown to Cash for Kids. He’s been a champion of our charity since 2014, helping us to support the thousands of local children who need it most. We look forward to working with Saltire Roofing & Building on the exciting projects we have planned for the coming year, directly benefiting even more local children.”

Saltire Roofing & Building Managing Director Steven McIntosh said:

“We have a big focus on community benefits at Saltire Roofing & Building, and who better to benefit from our support than children who are in need and living right on our doorstep. Cash for Kids is a fantastic charity to work with and I’m truly honoured to receive this gold disc. I’m also delighted to be pledging even more support to Cash for Kids at both Radio Forth and Radio Borders in the year ahead.”
