This week, the team at Saltire Roofing & Building received two heartfelt “thank you” notes for our ongoing support of the Tour de Lauder.
Tour de Lauder raises money for the Steve Cully Tribute Fund. Steve, a Lauder resident and keen cyclist, died from a heart attack aged just 42. The fund was set up by Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland on his wife Rosie’s wishes, in memory of Steve.
Saltire Roofing & Building has been a proud partner and sponsor of the event for several years now and the team was delighted to receive “Thank You” cards from both the Cully family and the charity, Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.
“Huge, huge thanks for your incredibly kind sponsorship of the TDL. Without the help and support of people like you, it wouldn’t be the success it is today. Next year Steven, I’m sure you will LOVE the training!!
Take care and huge thanks again. Rosie, Hannah & Josh.”
“Thank you for your support and sponsorship for the Tour de Lauder, it is very much appreciated.
Over the last 8 years, Tour de Lauder has raised £254,776.70 for the Steve Cully Memorial Fund.
Thanks again. Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.”
Saltire Roofing & Building Managing Director, Steven McIntosh said:
“I’m from the Borders and know the Cully family well so it’s a cause very close to my own heart, and we as a team at Saltire Roofing & Building recognise the importance of giving back to our local communities. We’re proud to have been a big part of the Tour de Lauder event over the years, helping to raise so much money for such a fantastic cause. We look forward to being involved again next year.”
