Our work reaches the national business standard ISO9001 and the health and safety of our staff and customers is paramount.
All jobs are risk assessed by our fully qualified health and safety staff to ensure work is carried out safely and to the highest standard.
Our team of building and roofing contractors are all time-served qualified professionals. We also train our apprentices, with our most experienced staff passing on decades of knowledge and skill.
All of our fully trained staff carry CSCS cards which ensure health and safety regulations are met. We’re also fully checked and certified to work for local authorities in schools and sports clubs as part of Disclosure Scotland.

Delivering community benefits
We like to give back to the communities in which we build, to benefit the lives of local people.
We’re a long-standing supporter of the charity Cash for Kids, with regular donations to appeals like Mission Christmas. We also support schools in need of funding to help disadvantaged children in both Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders. During the pandemic we have donated to local food projects in these areas too, to provide extra support for those most in need.
We sponsor community events and clubs including the Borders Family Book Festival and the Hearts Walking Football Club for the Over 50s.
As a multi-trades building company, we’re also incredibly proud to support the Youthbuild programme run by the charity Action for Children, helping disadvantaged youngsters enter employment in the construction industry.
It’s our hope that our continuing support of these initiatives, and many more like them, will help to build a brighter future for local children.
Protecting our planet
We take our environmental responsibilities very seriously and are fully committed to reducing our carbon footprint.
Our vision is to become part of a Circular Construction Industry to eliminate as much waste and pollution as possible.
The first step in our journey was gaining ISO14001 certification to ensure we effectively control the impact of our operations to an international standard.
We’re now working with Home Energy Scotland, Resource Efficient Scotland and Zero Waste Scotland on further environmental initiatives and have recently trained two staff to become certified “Green Champions” to lead our company towards a greener future.
Our efforts have been recognised with a “Good Practice” award at the 2021 VIBES Scottish Environment Business Awards. We have also gained our Resource Efficiency Pledge Bronze Award from Zero Waste Scotland and are now working towards our Silver Pledge.
